Year 6 SATs

We wanted to start our newsletter this week by saying well done to all of our year 6 children who have worked really hard on their SATs papers this week. Thank you to parents for making sure the children came in on time and were well prepared. Our staff managed to get the right balance of supporting the children to do well and fulfil their potential, without adding pressure onto them. We hope they’ve enjoyed their special visit to InflateSpace today.

Nursery ducks!

There has been such excitement in our Nursery this week. Earlier in the week duck eggs were brought into nursery for the children to look after. There was a really lovely moment where the children were able to see the first one hatch out of its shell.

Children’s Cancer Run 2025

Lots of families have signed up for the Children’s Cancer run on Sunday at Gosforth Park. Some families may want to run at times that suit them. However, for those who would like to run with the ‘Ravesies Runners’, meet at the main event information point (a big white marquee) and look for the school banner. Miss. Williams and Mr. Anderson will be waiting here.

We’ll then have a school/family photo and split into groups for the one mile or 3 mile race which start at 11:35. A reminder that children will need to be accompanied at the event by an adult. If you haven’t had the chance to sign up, but would still like to join, you can buy tickets on the day.

Under 10’s football

The U10 girls were outstanding on Thursday evening this week, competing superbly in the Tony Knox Cup. The team finished third overall with some excellent football from all players.
