Welcome back, everyone!

The new school year is off to a wonderful start at Ravenswood Primary School. It has been a pleasure welcoming back our children and families and seeing everyone settle so well into their new classes. The children have shown great enthusiasm, worked hard throughout the week, and are already making their teachers very proud.

We were delighted to celebrate pupils’ achievements during assembly today and present certificates for their successes. Please remember to read the newsletter each Friday, as it is our main way of sharing important information, key dates, and upcoming events with our school community.

Bok bok bok! (That's chicken for THANK YOU!)

Our Chickens were so lucky to have such great family helpers over the Summer holiday. Over the next week we’ll be looking for some new ‘chicken rangers’ from the children in year 5. I was very surprised that our chickens even learned to write over the holidays:

“Mrs Peckerton would like to thank everyone for keeping her food bowl topped up. Henrietta is especially grateful for all the attention and care. Nugget would like everyone to know that she was definitely not responsible for any escape attempts. And Cluck Norris says that every great explorer needs a reliable rescue team, and you were the best!”

If you would like to buy our chickens eggs, we’re selling them at the school office - £2 for 6 eggs. You need to leave the money with the office to go on the waiting list, and we’ll give you a call the day they’re laid.
